Beautiful Fiji – No Crowds Here
Ask anyone to name the most popular honeymoon destinations and countries like France, Switzerland and Thailand will crop up. Usually, picking any one of these countries is not a bad choice; it is amazing how much they have to offer.
However, you won’t be the only couple picking out these select countries. Chances are that you could well be surrounded by other honeymooning couples and the feeling of a “special” honeymoon goes out for a toss.
Until a few years ago, there were some good destinations you could escape to. However, even those countries (Greece, Turkey, and Mauritius) are being run over by honeymooners. Thankfully, there are still a few countries left that are ideal for a perfect honeymoon, yet devoid of the massive honeymooning crowds.
Costa Rica
The Republic of Costa Rica is truly one of the most beautiful and diverse countries in the world. Nestled in the heart of Central America, the country has one of the highest Human Development Indexes in the world; something of a rarity for Latin American countries.

For honeymooning couples, the options available are simply astounding. You can stay in the capital city of San Jose and experience one of the finest Latin American cities or you can venture out into one of many national parks. Costa Rica also has its fair share of exquisite beaches and if you are looking for something extra romantic, there is always the option of staying at a villa in a plantation.
Morocco
It wasn’t the happiest of endings for Rick and Ilsa in Casablanca, but for honeymooners, there cannot be a finer city to revel in. In fact, the entire country of Morocco is a North African jewel that is to be cherished.

If you are a couple that love exploring new places, then Morocco is the best destination. From Tangiers to Rabat to Casablanca to Marrakesh, every city has something distinct to offer. The local Moroccan cuisine is usually infallible and the bazars are a delight for any shopaholic. An excellent domestic transportation system means that the lovebirds can spend more time canoodling and less time worrying about how to get from one city to another.
Fiji

Fiji has always been a country that has benefited from tourism. It has been a preferred destination for travellers who seek peaceful and quiet place for their holidays. As far as Asian destinations are concerned, most countries can become quite overwhelming for honeymooning couples. This is where Fiji comes to the rescue.
The tranquil islands provide the perfect setting for a couple to just relax and enjoy each other’s company. There are a number of holiday packages available on the three biggest Fijian islands that specifically cater to honeymooners. There are very few places in the world where you can go scuba diving and then enjoy a beautiful sunset alongside your loved one, without having to worry about a horde of tourists.
