One of my favorite locations in the world is Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay. This resort, north of Mazatlan, Mexico, is the very picture of serenity and tranquility. It’s set on a 20 acre area, on a nearly private horseshoe-shaped beach. While the Golden Zone of Mazatlan has hundreds of restaurants, hotels, bars and shops, this area is quiet and secluded, perfect for a romantic beach getaway. My husband and I had a hotel stay that wasn’t up to par. However, it was followed by an excellent stay that was beyond our expectations. The hotel in question has earned our business for life! Hotel Deca wins the award for the BEST balcony in the city of Seattle! My husband and I recently had the extreme pleasure of staying in the Isabella Suite at Hotel Deca. I think I could write an entire post just on the balcony! The balcony of the Isabelle Suite has a full 250 degree view of Seattle. My husband and I recently stayed at the Red Lion in Olympia WA. We were guests at a family wedding. I was quite pleased with this hotel!The hotel is situated on a lovely campus with trees and a view of Capitol Lake. The even numbered rooms have this gorgeous view.  Even though it's just minutes away from downtown Olympia, the location feels secluded.We were in a room with two queen beds.
